International Surgical Week ISW

(World Congress of Surgery)

The main meeting of IASMEN is in conjunction with the biennial International Surgical Week ISW (World Congress of Surgery) organized by the International Society of Surgery (ISS/SIC). Regularly some 15-20 International Specialist Societies, amongst which are the four ISS/SIC Integrated Societies (IASMEN, IATSIC, BSI, ISDS) as well as some National Surgical Societies cover the broad spectrum of surgery during a 4-day scientific program. With the aim to gather surgeons in all stages of their career and from all around the globe, the ISW provides a platform for the mutual exchange of scientific knowledge and new techniques.
